2023 was a year of amazing growth and laying the groundwork for an even brighter 2024!

National headlines will tell you that 2023 wasn’t a great year for real estate—an unpredictable marketplace, high interest rates, reluctant buyers and sellers.

But for The Welter Group, 2023 was incredible! We closed over $9.6 million in sales. We helped 14 satisfied buyers find the homes of their dreams, and successfully sold 16 properties. Stephanie even brokered 10 mortgages through ClearPath Financial, making the process easier and typically more affordable for our buyers!

We’re so proud of these accomplishments, but we’re most proud of what happened behind the scenes this year. Our team spent the past year examining every aspect of our work, the home buying and selling process, and finding innovative ways to make working with us the best possible experience for our clients.

Internal Transaction Checklists

Whenever a buyer or seller goes under contract, the next steps can quickly become very confusing. By developing franchise-like repeatability with our checklists, we never miss a deadline and are there to remind all parties of a transaction what needs to be done. Most importantly, our energy is freed up to focus on the client’s needs and emotions.

Client Care Coordinator Theresa Messer

Early in 2023 we added Theresa Messer to the team as the Client Care Coordinator and she has done incredible work to make sure our clients are supported at every step. She works diligently to make sure you’re ready for every deadline and meeting, and is ready to troubleshoot anything that comes up.

Enter Allison Boshell, Buyer’s Specialist

It seems hard to believe that Allison only joined the team this year! She has already hit the ground running, helping buyers find their new dream homes, answering questions and helping new buyers and seasoned veterans alike with her expert advice!

Custom Buyer and Seller Guides

Every buyer or seller who works with us will receive one of our custom-made Buyer’s or Seller’s Guide. Each guide highlights every step of the process, letting you know what’s coming, what information you need, and most importantly what to expect. Our goal is to eliminate surprises and keep you in the driver’s seat.

Mortgage Brokerage with ClearPath Financial

Did you know Stephanie is also a mortgage broker with ClearPath Financial? She has the training and expertise to find the best mortgage for your individual needs. Because she doesn’t work for one bank, she’s able to price out competing bids to find the most competitive option for you.

New Website

We are so proud of the new website we launched last year! This is our online home for all the information you need, from advice on preparing your house to sell, to timelines and checklists, to guidance on disclosures and how to prep your house for the market. You can even use it to search for your next home and save your favorite houses!

Under Contract Care Package

Most realtors give a closing day gift (we do too!), but we also have a little something to comfort you as soon as you’re under contract. Enjoy a beautifully curated care package that lets you know you are not alone, and we’ve got you covered!

Closing Day Commemorative Video

We give every new buyer a professional closing day video to commemorate the milestone. We can’t think of a better, lasting way to remember this incredible accomplishment and help you to share it with your friends and family.

Loving Our Communities

We love our neighborhoods. Stephanie is proudly from the Northwest side of Chicago, Allison is from Barrington, and we love our local! We hit up every local coffee shop, restaurant and store possible, and also invite small businesses to be on our podcast or interviewed in our blogs! We sponsored local events like the USTA Father Son National Indoor National Championships at South Barrington Club; The Softball Hall of Fame in Chicago, volunteered at Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg; and even exhibited at the Great Bridal Expo Chicago.

Our relationships with our clients are why we do this work; we thrive off of learning about you and what your goals are. We walk with you to make it happen.
