Third-party real estate websites provide estimated house values across the United States, so they don’t account for real local market values. They use computer-generated house values based on calculations and formulas.
It’s important to disclose to potential buyers anything you are aware of in your house. If you’re aware of defects with a roof, appliance, or house in general, you’re always going to be better off being honest and upfront. Whenever possible, fixing defects before going on the market is best.
